[S3E6] Smokin With Cigarettes

Later, Robert beats Riley senseless with his belt due to his bad behavior, which Riley didn't even do much anything bad other than the cigarettes. Lamilton appears on the news and remarks again "It's fun to do bad things", to cover for his wrongdoings. Granddad tells him to stay away from Lamilton or else he will tie Riley to the bed post, but Riley opposes it.

[S3E6] Smokin with Cigarettes

Mercer and Grayson drop in on Bortus and Klyden's quarters to find them chain smoking, and the Captain orders them to Sick Bay. There, Doctor Claire Finn determines that the Moclan physiology is extremely susceptible to nicotine addiction. She orders the pair to stop smoking until she formulates a cure for their addiction, which may take months, and recommends that their child Topa stay with her sons Ty and Marcus for the next few days.

While listening to Becca talk about her break up with Leo, Max notices that the magnetite is gone. He checks the security footage in the computer lab, but sees the doctored footage that Enzo created. He thinks Emma threw out the magnetite on purpose. She comes in and tells him that someone stole the magnetite. He asks her if someone is blackmailing her again and shows her the footage. He wonders if she's been lying to him all this time. She knows the footage is fake, and points out that he was there when they were trying to hang up the magnetite. Plus, she broke a vase, and it's there in one shot but gone the next because she broke it, but the glass is gone, along with Max himself and Enzo. She'd never throw away a moon rock. Whoever messed with the footage has the magnetite. They have to find them and get it back. If anyone else notices that the magnetite is missing though, they'll tell Ryan, who will see the doctored footage and think it was Emma. Max uses the 3D printer to make a perfect replica. Daniel blames himself for the loss because he got thrown out of the game. Coach Davies asks Alex what happened that made him so unfocused after the time out. He thinks it's shameful that they greet their new headmaster this way. Hayley talks to Alex afterwards, and learns that Brooke broke up with him during the time out. She invites him to come with her to the hospital to cheer up Suzanne, but he declines. He thinks Ryan is disappointed in him because he missed the shot, but Hayley reminds him that she still loves him, and moms don't care if you lose sometimes, or sisters. Max and Emma finish the replica. Before she can finally tell him about Leaf not being real, he apologizes for ever thinking that she would lie to him. Jason, the client, and the fake guard look at the security footage and notice that the magnetite in the Ravens' clubhouse is gone. They have no information from their insider. This completely flew over my head at the time, because I thought Enzo was their insider the whole time, but the client doesn't offer him a job until the next episode. Their mole is actually someone else. They see Max and Emma hang up the fake magnetite. The mob guy is camping and examining the moon rock. However, he tells his boss, whose name is Vlad, that Enzo paid his debt with a gold plate instead. While prying the magnetite off of it, it falls into the fire. It starts emitting smoke when he takes it out, and he falls unconscious. Daniel declines to go to the hospital with Hayley. Sophie can tell that Brooke is upset, and says that even if she's still mad with her about what happened with her dad, she's still her best friend if she wants to talk. Brooke tells her that it's not just about her dad. She broke up with Alex. He comes in, and Parker tells him that he's sick of his emotions getting in the way of everything. Daniel tells him to leave him alone, but he refuses. They start bickering, but Alex says that Parker is right, he sucks. Hayley says he doesn't, and if they're being honest, then they should be honest about whose fault it actually was. Against Alex's objections, she asks Brooke to tell everyone why he missed the free throw, and leaves. The others rag on her for breaking up with him right before that, even though Alex tells them to leave her alone. She points out that instead of asking her what happened, what he did that made her break up with him, or how she's feeling, all they care about is some stupid game. Even Sophie agrees with them though, and Brooke walks out. Sophie tries to stop her, but now she thinks she was only ever in this for herself. Brooke taught her everything about the Greenhouse, and says Sophie isn't her friend. She leaves, and Sophie starts crying, so Parker hugs her. Hayley visits Suzanne and gives her flowers. It turns out that Leo had the same idea about visiting her and gives her a latte. Awkward silence ensues. Parker assures Sophie that Brooke will talk to her again. All she did was tell the truth, like she always does. She realizes that he's right and tells him the truth about Enzo. In between the awkwardness, Leo and Hayley take thinly veiled cheap shots at each other, and Suzanne learns that Leo and Becca were a couple, but then they broke up. Enzo gets a call from Vlad because his mobster guy never showed up to deliver the gold plate, and he isn't picking up his phone. Enzo learns that he didn't even mention the moon rock, he just said that he was camping. He tells Vlad that he'll take care of it and find the guy. Parker wants to talk to Ryan right away and get rid of Enzo, but Sophie tells him that he threatened them. Apparently, he saw a picture of them and "got the wrong idea." Wait, so they're not a couple? You could've fooled me. You see what I mean about all of my OTPs falling apart this season? Emma and Max realize that Enzo stole the magnetite. They try to confront him in his office, but they scream when Parker and Sophie open the door, having thought of the same thing. Enzo is gone. They share information with each other. Brooke is talking to Ryan about leaving the Greenhouse and starting over. Even sitting with her is hard. She suggests a different solution, by making her a member of the Ravens. Max and Emma realize that they can track the magnetite by seeing where there's a low or no GPS signal due to its magnetic interference. Parker thought they were dating, but they tell him that they're not. Enzo is in the woods near the school, and Parker and Sophie decide to covertly "borrow" the official Greenhouse van. Sophie drives it. Brooke comes back to the Eagles' clubhouse and takes her stuff from her locker. Daniel asks her if she's okay. She says that she is now, and leaves. Enzo finds the mobster guy's campsite and sees that his veins are black. He takes the keys to his car, the gold plate, and the magnetite, which is still smoking. He realizes that he was going to give his boss the gold plate and presumably sell the magnetite himself. It keeps smoking in the sealed car. Enzo starts coughing, which makes him swerve a lot. He finally grabs it and throws it out the window. It lands in a puddle before he crashes the car. Emma finds the magnetite. Max swears for the first time, and I'm not gonna lie, it's kind of cool. I can't remember if I mentioned this earlier, but I think there's a lot more swearing this season. Sure, it's just hell and damn, but it's probably more than the first two seasons combined. Before they can head back, Enzo stumbles into the road and they hit him. The end credits song "I Wait" kind of sounds like it could be from Brooke's current perspective, with everything she loves being taken away from her, and no one else even caring because every Eagles character is a selfish asshole.

Denzel gives up smoking marijuana and feels like a new man. He then is promoted to Woody's former job as the Head Ranger and gives up any leisure time to go hang out with Steve or smoke weed. Steve desperately tries to get him to smoke weed again when Denzel resorts to becoming a workaholic overachiever.

The next morning, Winston sees a doctor about his sore foot. The doctor asks Winston if he smokes. Winston replies that he gave up smoking five years ago as it was too expensive. It turns out that Winston had been smoking eighty cigarettes a day, which shocks his doctor. He tells Winston to go to the infirmary and Winston asks if his sore foot would allow him to claim for invalidity benefit, which the doctor agrees to. 041b061a72
